Chelsea joined Stahly LLC, from another domestic relations firm, in Spring 2017 as an associate attorney. Chelsea graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2015 and from the University of Virginia in 2011 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Spanish and Environmental Science. Prior to joining the firm, Chelsea was a ski instructor for Ski Schools of Aspen and was an apprentice dancer with the Boulder Ballet. She enjoys family law because of the abundant opportunities to interact with clients and help families through their most stressful chapters.

Outside of work, Chelsea loves skiing, ballet, mountain escapes, and traveling.

  • Successfully obtained favorable maintenance and child support in a case where payor failed to report income accurately to the court (the failure to report resulted in the income being reported 40% lower than actual income). Was able to establish the accurate amount of income and therefore the Court entered an appropriate order for child support and maintenance.
  • Successfully obtained a Civil Protection Order for client who received death threats (directly and indirectly) from spouse.
